We gave the ‘Sportschau’ sporting highlights round-up show a comprehensive makeover, upgrading everything from its logo and broadcast design, match results graphics, and TV studios to web and mobile design. During the phenomenal sports year that was 2016, we also created portions of the Sportschau design packages for events including the Olympics, the Tour de France and the kick-off of the winter sports season. Each event was presented with a specially-customised programme design.

CONCEPT

 

Sportschau’s new look is a clear departure from its former design, giving the brand a distinctive, modern feel. BDA Creative presents Sportschau as the home for the European Cup football championship and for other major domestic and international sporting events.

THE SHAPE

At the heart of the new design is the iconic ‘S’-shaped Sportschau logo. The ‘S’ frames each sporting event’s individual logo, highlighting the strong partnerships between Sportschau and the world’s biggest sporting events brands including the UEFA Euro, the Olympics and the Bundesliga. This fresh new logo design emphasises Sportschau’s role as trusted host platform for the most exciting broadcasting in global sports.
