Viacom kicked-off a new Nickelodeon on-air campaign in Germany for NICK, the network’s programme for 6 – 11 year-olds, with the slogan ‘Nick, wenn Du…’ (English for ‘Nod along if you…’).

The centrepiece was a TV spot encouraging the audience at home to physically nod their heads in approval, underscored by a catchy song composed in collaboration with Berlin-based musician Fargo.

Billboards and an ad flight featuring in newspapers, parenting magazines, kids’ shows and programmes also urged folks to tune in and nod along.

This use of four different formats to advertise the programme – as well as website banners and a corresponding radio advert – ensured our interactive creative campaign had an impact on kids and adults alike.
