Our task
was to transform SWR into a future-proof media house. The goal was to create a holistic brand that resonates with a broad and diverse audience, while putting content at the forefront. This involved developing the brand identity further by retaining the heritage of its established logo, yet freeing the brand to express its diversity. Simplicity and accessibility across all touchpoints are key to ensuring the brand can adapt and thrive in the evolving media landscape.

New corporate font The type creation by our partner Bbox-type is driven by one of the brands core principles of always staying reliable, the uniwidth principle and inspired in animation by emphasizing the viewers choice through multiple ways of highlighting. With the new SWR type family, a style-defining, design-orientated, highly variable and technically innovative corporate type system has been created that covers all areas of application for the SWR.
Unity in diversity A flexible, easily accessible design system with an expanded color palette was introduced to accommodate the diverse content of the different sub-brands. This tangible unification under one umbrella brand ensures consistency across all use cases while allowing creative freedom within the newly established guidelines.
Our task rebrand the SWR Sport sub-brand entire package of linear and digital offerings following the overarching brand system with the concept of choice. Decision-making has an impact, because every game, every fight, every competition consists of choices that are made in a split second: Athletes, coaches and entire teams decide on a tactic or a specific move that is supposed to turn the game in their favor. These are the moments when everything is at stake: victory or defeat. Choose your side. Choose your team.
